Next week, I will go for a hike in Norway, and for Ice cream in Iceland, while I swim in the Blue Lagoon. Not many people can say they travel on a regular basis. I can. I also love to experience the food in every port. So far; the best hamburger is in Hilo, Hawaii the best fish soup in South Queensferry, Scotland and the best omelet in Le Havre, France. What has been your best professional experience as a medi-spa physician?

As a Medi-Spa at Sea physician people from all walks of life come to your treatment room. I had many rewarding experiences, but there is one that I will always remember. I had a nurse that came to me because she had “basically no top lip” and she wanted a lip enhancement. After doing the treatment, I handed her the mirror and she started to cry, like I´ve never seen before. Sometimes, you get guests that shed a little tear when they see the results and usually they try to hide it. She wasn´t hiding anything. Since it was the first time, and only time so far, that I had a reaction like that I got really scared. I asked her if everything was all right or if I did something wrong. She told me: “No Doctor. You have just given me something I wanted for the last thirty something years. A top lip, one that looks like mine but better”.
